Gadget not saving Midiflow virtual port in their song files

Post by hjstern » Fri Apr 26, 2019 4:45 pm

Hi Johannes. Gadget allows us to the MIDI Input Device selected for any particular gadget or gadgets within that program however it doesn't seem to recall the virtual midi ports I have created in Midiflow. It will remember so long as I don't exit Midiflow and cannot seem to recall it if I exit both programs and reload it. Of course I load Midiflow first to ensure the ports are there before opening Gadget but this still doesn't seem to work. If I select Audiobus, the Gadget Virtual Port or a hardware port as the Midi Input Device within Gadget they will work but it wont recall the virtual port that I created in Midiflow. I have reported this to Gadget as well but I thought I should also report this to you.

Thanks

Howard

That is strange. If you load Midiflow first, then the ports should be there. So, you are doing everything right. Let me know if you get more information from Gadget.

I heard back from Korg support but all they said is that they would pass along my message to the development team.
